What we collect, why, and — just as importantly — what we don't.

This Privacy Policy explains how CuToken ("CuToken", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website and prompt-optimization services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

If you create an account, we collect the name and email address you provide. Your password is never stored in plain text — it is converted using a one-way industry-standard hashing algorithm before being saved, meaning we cannot see, recover, or read your original password, and neither could anyone who gained unauthorized access to our database.

1.2 Prompt Content

The text you submit for optimization ("Prompt Content") is not stored at all unless and until you click "Run" (or an equivalent action) to process it. Simply typing into the input field does not save anything. Once you submit a prompt for processing:

  • Your raw prompt is used to generate the optimized output you requested.
  • The raw prompt and the resulting optimized output are temporarily retained in our systems.
  • This data is automatically and permanently deleted from our database within 4 days of submission.

We do not use your Prompt Content to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve any machine learning model — ours or any third party's — and we do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your Prompt Content with any third party for their own marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes.

1.3 Payment Information

If you purchase Pro credits, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor, Razorpay. We do not receive, process, or store your full card, UPI, or bank account details — that information is handled entirely by Razorpay under its own security and privacy practices. We retain only a record of the transaction (amount, credits purchased, timestamp, and a payment reference ID) for accounting, order-history, and dispute-resolution purposes.

1.4 Usage & Technical Data

We automatically collect limited technical data necessary to operate and secure the Service, including IP address, request timestamps, and basic request metadata. This is used solely for rate-limiting, abuse prevention, debugging, and maintaining service reliability. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles.

2. Pro Tier Processing by a Third-Party AI Provider

For Pro-tier optimizations, in order to generate a further-refined result, your (already-processed) prompt text may be sent to a trusted third-party artificial intelligence service provider for additional processing. This provider:

  • Receives the prompt text solely to generate the optimized output returned to you;
  • Is contractually and/or by its own published policy prohibited from using submitted content to train its models;
  • Applies its own data retention and deletion practices, independent of CuToken, in addition to the 4-day deletion described above on our own systems.

We do not disclose the identity of this provider on this page, as our infrastructure and vendor relationships are proprietary business information; however, this disclosure is provided so you understand that Pro-tier requests involve a third-party data processor. If you require the specific identity of this sub-processor for compliance purposes, contact us using the details in Section 9.

3. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary session cookies required to keep you logged in and to maintain basic site functionality (such as CSRF protection). We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies that build a profile of you across other websites.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above only to: provide and operate the Service; authenticate your account and maintain your session; process payments and manage your credit balance; prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service; comply with legal obligations; and communicate with you about your account or transactions when necessary. We do not use your personal information for unrelated marketing without your consent, and we do not sell your personal information to data brokers or advertisers.

5. Data Retention

  • Prompt Content (raw and optimized): deleted within 4 days of processing.
  • Account information: retained for as long as your account remains active, and deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after you request account deletion, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.
  • Transaction/payment records: retained for as long as required by applicable tax, accounting, and financial regulations.

6. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), one-way password hashing, and access controls limiting who can reach production systems. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you acknowledge that any information you transmit to us is done at your own risk.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, individuals under the age of 18 (or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction, if higher). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
